About Amanda Salatino

Amanda Salatino is a 20-year-old ICAM and Psychology B.A Double Major at UCSD. She is a self-taught artist who has imagined worlds and characters since she could walk. Her first love was acrylic painting, though she is currently exploring digital art, animation, and graphic design.

Her personal artistic style is maximalist, chaotic, colorful, and strange. Her greatest influences are fun-filled cartoons (like Adventure Time and Alice in Wonderland) and kaleidoscopic artists such as Holly Warburton. When Amanda is not drawing, she's ghost hunting, watching her favorite horror films, or eating Oreos.

She is currently working on her very own zombie apocalypse comic (in between painting guts and hearts, of course). She hopes to spend her life sharing her passions with anyone and everyone she has the chance to meet, including whoever is out there reading this. Hello you!
